Nacogdoches Medical Center Appoints Chief Clinical Officer
 
 
 

Nacogdoches, TX... December 20, 2006: Nacogdoches Medical Center (NMC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Marvis (Ed) Price, BSN, MBA, RN to the position of Chief Clinical Officer.
Ed has been a nurse for 25 years and comes to NMC from Tenet’s corporate office in Dallas where he served as the Senior Director of Nursing and Clinical Operations. Prior to holding his position with Tenet he served as Chief Nursing Officer at Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding, California and is a retired Major from the United States Air Force.
He earned his BSN from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana and his MBA from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Ed will be responsible for the oversight of patient care at Nacogdoches Medical Center and will be an advocate for quality care and nurses.
Gary Stokes, chief executive officer of NMC commented, “I look forward to a bright future as Ed completes our senior management team. His many years of experience will be valuable to Nacogdoches Medical Center as we continue to expand the level of services we are able to provide to the Nacogdoches Community.”

Ed is a native of Louisiana and is married to Dawna Price. Together they have four children – Joshua, Jacob Ryan and Emily.
