The neurological services available at the Center include Neurology, Neurosurgery and Neuroradiology. The medical specialists involved in these services are highly trained specialists who are prepared to assist with the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries that involve the brain, spine and nerves. Early diagnosis and treatment of neurological disease or injury is the goal of this program. After all, at Nacogdoches Medical Center, our mission from the very beginning has always had you in mind. NEUROLOGY
Neurology is the specialized field of medicine that deals with disorders of the nervous system. Neurologists may serve as a consultant to other physicians to provide neurological assessments and treatment to patients with suspected neurological disorders. NEUROSURGERY
This highly technical field is one in which time and expertise could be a key factor in determining the well-being of the patients served. Neurological services available at the Center may include:

Early diagnosis is also important in neurological management of injury, disease and disorders of the brain, spine or nerves. Electroencephalograph (EEG), computed axial tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and diagnostic radioisotope are among the technology ready to assist our physicians in addressing the needs of our patients.
