The Cancer Center offers custom-tailored treatment planning for each individual. To support these technically complex applications of treatment, sophisticated planning is in place, including a networked CT scanner, a simulator, a treatment planning system, and a multi-modality linear accelerator. The management of cancer is firmly integrated in a multidisciplinary team concept which utilizes ancillary departments throughout the hospital.

The Laird Cancer Center is typically well  staffed from 8:00 A.M. untill 4:40 P.M. Monday thru Friday, but offers emergency sevices 24 hours a day. It is our goal that patients routinely do not spend more than thirty minutes in the department for their daily treatments.
