Physical Rehabilitation Department

The physical rehabilitation program at Nacogdoches Medical Center may include physical therapy, and speech/language pathology services to our patients with acute rehabilitation needs. The program is designed to provide personalized care in a positive and dynamic atmosphere which may help patients achieve their optimal level for functional independence in order to return home.

Our licensed professionals and supportive staff work together with other hospital staff members to provide quality, individualized therapy for patients whose physicians have recommended rehabilitation services while they are hospitalized. These professionals also work with the patient, their families and the discharge planning staff to assist with the coordination of their needs after they are discharged from our facility.
