The cancer center’s 64-Slice LightSpeed Volume CT (Computed-Tomography) equipment captures an organ in seconds and performs whole-body scans in 10 seconds, while its MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) equipment utilizes GE EXCITE Technology to deliver rapid examinations with clear image results, even when a patient moves. Overcoming Breast Cancer at Nacogdoches Medical Center

Early detection of breast cancer saves lives. Reduce your risk right here at home – Detect subtle signs of early cancer through digital mammography at The Breast Center of Nacogdoches Medical Center. Schedule your digital mammogram at (936) 558-3450.

The Breast Center’s advanced imaging center is equipped with some of the latest technology, all to save your time and improve your results. Our digital mammogram technology uses computer-aided detection (CAD) to discover the slightest abnormalities and manipulate images for more accurate readings. The Breast Center’s computers and specially designed digital detectors produce an image that is instantly displayed on a high-resolution computer monitor. This technology reduces retakes, which means our patients spend less time in the breast-imaging suite and receive faster results.

Having a mammography is one of the smartest things a woman can do for herself. Discover signs of breast cancer early, with self-examinations, annual physician exams and mammography. If you are over 35 or at high risk for breast cancer, talk to your doctor about mammography. For more information or a physician referral, call (866) 898-8446.
