Nurse Practitioner Jamie Cook was her informed, kind, prompt and professional anticipated normal self. She noticed a rash on my left forearm, asked about it, I replied I had never before had measles until this which appeared the most recent mid-May when the Texas state Department was issuing warnings during May to seek medical advice for possible measles, given then recent outbreaks in West Texas and increasing cases in East Texas. I HAD gone in MidMay for MMR vaccine which I typically received annually, though I had never had measles or received its vaccine as a child in Texas Public Schools in 1956-57 when risk of exposure was high. Jamie Cook provided a steroid injection and steroid cream Rx to end my severe 90-day severe itch.

I would recommend Jamie Cook FNP to anyone. I feel very comfortable in talking with her and I feel that she really listens and seems to care about the patient, I am so thankful that she believed me when I said that I needed an antibiotic to clear up green mucus that I had been coughing up for the last month or so, even though I wasn't running fever. Within a week mucus was almost gone and my right lung was feeling better. I have to thank her for increasing my thyroid med, because I do have a lot more energy and feel like a different person.

Jamie Cook is wonderful. She took the time to hear me out when I was explaining what was wrong. She listened intently and had a very nurturing presence. I was always scared about talking my mental health but she made sure that I didn't feel like any less of a human. She helped me see things in a different light and to take things one day at a time. Her calm and understanding presence made me feel at ease and that I knew I was in the right place. She also made sure I knew that I can set up another appointment before my next appointment if I needed her sooner.

She listens to you, and always shows genuine concern for you and in all aspects of your health. She is informed of treatment options and is understanding and responsive to your particular situation, she is the kind of person who makes you feel comfortable discussing anything with her. I know she's very busy, but you always feel like you have plenty of time for any questions you may have. My husband is also a patient and feels likewise. I have referred a few people to her who were looking for a provider and they actually thanked me once they met her and said that she was amazing and they were so grateful that they had finally found such a great provider.

Jaimie is one of the most compassionate and competent professionals that I have ever met. She's personable, pleasant and very thorough in her assessment of the problem you present with. Jamie Cook, NP is phenomenal. She is so caring and truly listens to her patients, giving them a sense of validation. She offers whatever treatment and resources possible to care for her patients. She is very easy to talk with. She is very accommodating. I prefer seeing her over any other provider including physicians.

this is a truly wonderful medical organization. I live in Lufkin Texas about 25 miles from this office. I would drive twice that to be seen in this Medical Facility, especially by Jamie Cook.
