Jason Suits, MD, FACS is a board-certified general surgeon with nearly two decades of experience. He received his Bachelor of Science at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. He later received his Doctor of Medicine at Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine in College Station, TX. He provides a full spectrum of surgical care. Dr. Suits believes in empowering his patients through education, and his biggest source of pride is when a patient refers a friend or family member. His work goes beyond our community as Dr. Suits also volunteers with Refuge International.

I had a colonoscopy with Dr Suits last year and had 5 polyps. I went this year because he told me that I needed to come yearly until he cleared me. This year he referred me to Dr Duvall in Tyler. Dr Suits told me that 1 of the polyps he removed last year was a cancer and that he thought I needed to see someone else to be safe and that it was part of his job to take care of me and let me know if I needed to see someone else. My husband and I were both extremely pleased to know that if he thought I needed to see someone else that his ego as a doctor allowed him to do so. In our opinion, not many doctors would do that and we are extremely grateful!!! Also, on a side note, Dr Suits is different, not a stuck-up doctor that you do not feel like you can talk to, and that's refreshing :)
