Dr. Lindemann has lived in Nacogdoches since 2010, moving here after completing her residency. Dr. Lindemann earned her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science from The University of Texas at A&M and her M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She completed her Residency at The Methodist Hospital – Houston Family Medicine Residency Program, serving as Chief Resident her last year. She has been active at Nacogdoches Medical Center for the last 12 years. She has served in many leadership capacities, among them as a member of the Governing Board at NMC, Clinical Professor at Sam Houston State College for Osteopathic Medicine, Medical Director of the Stephen F. Austin State University Student Health Center, Medical Director of Hospice of East Texas and as Sports Medicine Staff at Stephen F. Austin State University. She also serves as Medical Director for select nursing homes in Nacogdoches and Center. In 2023, she has taken on the role of Chief of Staff for Nacogdoches Medical Center. She has been voted Best Family Medicine Physician in Nacogdoches and One of the Best Family Medicine Practices in Nacogdoches as well as winning the People's Choice Award in the fundraiser Dancing with the Nacogdoches Stars competition. In the community, Dr Lindemann is active as an leader in the Nacogdoches 4H Adult Leaders Association and assistant club manager for the Nacogdoches 4H Club. Dr. Lindemann has been married for 21 years, and has 3 children. When not in clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family and working out at the family ranch.

I only waited about 10 minutes to be called to the dr. Exam room. I waited only about 10 minutes for Dr. Lindemann to see me. She was extremely clear in her communication, she gave me the results of my lab work and her recommendations for my continued health care, and answered all of my questions. She send in the prescription refills immediately at the office in my presence and she sent info to the hospital for a mammogram and bone density test while I was there. She is a wonderful physician. When I exited to the appointment staff member, I had no wait at all.

As I wrote previously, Dr. Lindemann is an excellent physician. She has guided me from a case of real concern with diabetes II to a miracle improvement. She is efficient. She takes care of my prescription refills, referrals while I am still in the office. She answered all of my questions completely and to my satisfaction. The doctor was very professional listening to my concerns. Then she asked if I had any arthritis. I had just a little stiffness in the morning that goes away after about 30 minutes. She suggested two natural remedies which I will purchse. I hate to take medicine, so I was very pleased/happy that Dr. Carey Lindeman asked me If I had any arthritis!

Carey Lindeman asked me if I had any arthritic problems, and I responded just a little in morning; the stiffness goes away after a little movement in my right hand. I told her that I take turmeric. She suggested taking either bromelian pineapple extract or cactus extract along with my turmeric. I love that she did not prescribe medicine! I take only my thyroid medicine --- the rest are vitamin supplements. I recommend Carey Lindeman to anyone that does not want to take medicines.

I have high standards. My family is my everything. We found Dr. Lindemann after a relocation which put our primary care physician over 2 hours from our new home. We were with our previous PCP almost 10 years. So I had to find a new Dr that accepted our insurance. First Dr lasted about a year. After reintroducing myself/family at each appt as if we were first-time-patients and having to explain why we were there for a FOLLOW UP, it was time to move on. Next Dr took our insurance, then didn't, then did. The inconsistency sent me searching. Again. And then? I found Dr. Lindemann. I'm glad she's so young. We're done moving, hopefully she will be our PCP for the rest of our lives.
