When to See a Neurologist
Neurology specialists have received specialized training in diagnosing, treating and managing disorders of the brain and nervous system. A neurologist, for example, may recommend surgery performed by a neurosurgeon. Your primary care physician will refer you to neurology specialists for a neurological consultation. Neurology specialists will provide an examination to diagnose and treat disorders or conditions through ancillary services. Such disorders or conditions include:
