Before Baby Arrives

Becoming a mom is amazing. Feeling confident you are backed by a team of experts makes this special time even sweeter. We know your little one doesn’t come with an instruction manual, but our experienced team of mothers and nurses are on hand so by the time you’re headed home, you’ll feel like an expert, too.

Get Ready With Childbirth Classes

To start your journey, NMC offers a series of informative childbirth classes for expectant parents throughout the year. The programs are held in the Women’s Center 3rd Floor Classroom and classes meet once a week for four weeks. There is no fee for the classes, and it is not necessary to pre-register.

In our birth preparation classes, you’ll be on your way to becoming an expert and learn what you need to know about Pregnancy, Labor/Delivery, Pain Management, Care of the Newborn. Safety/CPR and Breastfeeding.
